Compulsory Cleanup Activities: This is a government mandated response to emergency or threat conditions that already exist at any uncontrolled hazardous site.
Voluntary Cleanup Activities: This is a free-will voluntary rectification of any known dangerous substances.
Corrective Actions: These are specific cleanup operations that pertain to the treatment, transportation, disposal and storage of hazardous wastes.
Emergency Response: This is when responses need to be made to oil spills and other dangerous leaks or hazardous substance release.
Waste Treatment Operations: This is when specific methods are used to monitor, report, store and dispose of solid waste.
