This particular standard addresses 5 main areas of the expected employer as well as employee emergency response: Compulsory Cleanup Activities : This is a government mandated response to emergency or threat conditions that already exist at any uncontrolled hazardous site. Voluntary Cleanup Activities : This is a free-will voluntary rectification of any known dangerous substances. Corrective Actions : These are specific cleanup operations that pertain to the treatment, transportation, disposal and storage of hazardous wastes.
